Hi there. I'm sorry to hear about all the trouble you're having. I don't think it's fair that your family is forcing you to curse and watch rated R movies and clean up after everyone else. It' also not very nice of them to keep you from going to church. Personally, I am not a religious person, but I still think it's unfair for them to keep you from a safe place that you enjoy going to. Maybe if you kept quiet about religion (for example, if you stopped trying to introduce your parents to Christ), they wouldn't be so harsh. They may feel that you're choosing your church over them, and that's why they're forcing you to stay away from church and do things their way. If you have access to the Internet often, maybe you can find a chatroom where you can discuss religion, the Bible, etc. with other people. Good luck!

i can completely sympathize with your situation as i had a not too different time of it when i became a Christian not much older than you are now

i think you have a good attitude to it all tho

i think to say less to your family about christ and buy continue praying for them. some people take a long time to see what it is all about and often feel threatened or think you have 'gone funny' and seek to 'normalize' you.

but you stand by your principles my friend - the lord will take care of the rest.

in revelation in the first 3 chapters there are promises made to 'those who overcome' that were written to 7 of the earlier churches which i thought would be an encouragement to you.

god bless you and drop me a line if you need to

Well it is very good that at 11 years old you are a Christian without your parents help. Good job to the person that got you into Christ. This is strange though, and it is weird that your parents would ground you for not cussing. I would suggest that you talk to your pastor at church or someone you trust at church. Maybe they can take you away from your horrible family.

Well sweetie, its going to be hard for a while especially cause your so young. My advise to you is to show them that you love them and be a testimony to them. When it comes to watching those rated R movies just ask if you cauld be excused. About doing the wash just continue to do it with a good attitude. Thats how you will win them to Christ by showing them that Christ lives in you. I hope you take my advise, I've been there I know what your going through. Take care of yourself, and God Bless You.

Pray for your parents with all the love in your heart. Please remember that you do have christian contacts in school. Find out if one of your teachers or counselors are christian and confide in them. They will be able to help you in this. Remember, as a christian we will all be tormented or ridiculed for our faith. But the rewards of living a Godly life is worth it all. For someone of only 11 years old you show a great deal of maturity. Far more than I had at that age. I am proud of you and will be praying for you everyday. May God bless you and keep you safe in your faith.

Stay strong hang in there and more importantly go after god and don't ever stop praying for your family when you are forced to watch these movies just pray silently or something. in the bible it says honor your father and mother i used to think that was only if they were christian and mine aren't but still God sees your obedience and takes joy in that. They will change if God can move mountains than he will save your family but you must stay hungry for this and be faithful.

I do not get your question! You have been grounded either because you tried to convert your already christian parents to christ or because you didn't "cus" which I think means swearing?

Anyway, I think you should just take your punishment . If you complain to your parents it will only make it worse. I haven't been grounded for 4 years so I don't know if I can really tell you what to do.

It says in the scripture that God will not put on us more than we can bear. And he won't remember that. It also says that all things work together for good to them that love the Lord and them that are the called according to his purpose. He will bring good out of this some how believe it and count on it he will bring it to pass. Pray and fast when you can. God says in Psalms 32:8 I will instrct thee and teach thee in hte way which thou shalt go I wil guide thee with mine eye. Hold on to this scripture and never let it go.

Seriously? Well i would think that as you learn this new religion you just picked up you will find that tolerance an forgiveness play a major role. If you feel like your family is lacking in the moral dept maybe it will be a great way to learn how to exsist with people who have differing views than your own.

You need to get off web sites like this one and get into the real world. If you have problems with your parents then go talk to a school counselor and or go to the police, otherwise grow up before writing things like this on a world web site.
