this is past 14
19: Yet have regard to the prayer of thy servant and to his supplication, O LORD my God, hearkening to the cry and to the prayer which thy servant prays before thee;
20: that thy eyes may be open day and night toward this house, the place where thou hast promised to set thy name, that thou mayest hearken to the prayer which thy servant offers toward this place.
21: And hearken thou to the supplications of thy servant and of thy people Israel, when they pray toward this place; yea, hear thou from heaven thy dwelling place; and when thou hearest, forgive.
what this means is he was praying to other gods now as long as a person stays true to their own faith i see nothing wrong with it. he wasnt introuble for marrying some one of a different faith but he was introuble for praying to other gods

MARRIAGE
The man[or pair], will leave father and mother and cleave to each other as one flesh,
There’s not to be abuse, misuse and trouble, both works toward bliss and happiness,
The family needs a decent environment as clean and education in God’s word at best,
There must be a budget and strict care of it to have the good name no one is careless.
Matt.6:9-13[care for debts]; Matt.19:4-9[one flesh]; #1. Good common sense.
Decent employment must be a goal that is accomplished for every plan to be a success,
The present day location and time, surroundings as country, city, state for a safety list,
Make sure all things are in order and functions and goals for each day will pass the test,
Be sure to remember to devote the time needed to your helpmate first, to all others next.
Gen.2:20[help meet or help mate]; # 2. Fruits of Gods spirit or conduct becoming man.
If as for a believer or a non believer and your pleased to dwell together in marriage bliss,
The non believer is sanctified by the believer as God has taken care to assure you this,
The power of each other over the other and for most the woman is subjected to the man,
Her respect for him as is Sarah called Abraham Lord, most are sure to be holding hands.
1Cor.7:2-10[marry]; 1Cor.2:12-14[believer sanctifies both]; 1Cor.7:32 [unmarried];
1Cor.2:11,15[To part, do not wed]; 1Cor.7:33[Married]; 1Cor.7:39 [Spouse deceased];
Do not compete, be an individual, respect and allow others to be different, enjoy variety,
Sodom and Gomorrah’s sin was you have got to be like me, you must give me total victory,
We all know the LORD did not agree, but rather see all have good godly trust and morality,
Just be a human being and be all you can be, have respect
trespassing on God's territory.
THIS IS MY COLLECTION OF SCRIPTURES ON THE SUBJECT

"Stop becoming unevenly yoked with unbelievers. What partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? What fellowship can light have with darkness?" (II Corinthians 6:14)
If you marry someone with a different belief system than yourself, that person will drag you down spiritually. Further, you will be disobedient to the Lord who bought you with His precious blood.
They often will not support you when it comes to tithes, spending time in Bible study, etc. The believer always suffers in these relationships. Strife becomes the common denominator in the marriage. Either the believer becomes apostate, or they divorce. Neither is a good option.
Oh, and just so you know, the unbeliever rarely becomes a believer through the witness of the spouse. It can happen, but isn't something to be counted on.

. The prohibition is with "unbelievers" - "Do not be unequally
yoked together with unbelievers."
1. Who are these? Is it merely those who deny the existence of
God?
2. To understand who the "unbelievers" are, we might ask,
"Who is a believer in the N.T. sense?"
a. Acts 2:44; 16:34; 18:8 - The word "believer" is used
comprehensively to cover all the things a person does to
become a Christian and to remain one.
3. Thus, we are not to be unequally yoked together with those
who are not Christians, with those who are not faithfully
serving God.
Marriage of two different ethnicities is not a sin.

2 Corinthians 6 starting in verse 14.
and I'm not trying to be offensive here but a Christian cannot be supportive of any other faith, doing so is a equivalent to say that Jesus statement "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No ond comes to the Father except through me." is a lie.

There is an actual bible verse that says 'marry only in the lord' hold on real quick while I go find it :)
Ok 1 Corinthians 7:39 says- A wife is bound durning all the time her husband is alive. But if her husband should fall asleep in death she is free to be married to whom she wants, only in the lord.
Meaning to marry within your faith.

II Cor. 6:14 says to not be yoked with unbelievers. If you're a Christian and your spouse is a Muslim or some other religion there will be problems... especially when choosing how to raise your children. Even in the Christian world there are different beliefs as in other religions.

2 Corinthians 6:14 (New International Version)
14. Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

The only thing I can come up with that is close to that subject is in Corinthians, Be ye not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness. But it clearly says "unbelievers" not believers of different faiths. That is the verse they generally go to. I am Christian and hubby is of different faith, we get along fine. If there is a different passage someone please tell me.

the bible does say about not marrying someone of a different faith to you
2 cor 6 v 14 says about not being unequally yoked
the mixed race thing - that is a man made idea because we are all descended from Adam and Eve - so mixed race marriages are ok according to the bible

“Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers; for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14).
There's a difference between unconditional love and becoming one in the eyes of God through marriage. In any case, I wish you and your husband the best. I can agree the Bible says nothing against people of different races getting married.
UPDATE: You posted from 2nd CHRONICLES (a prayer of Solomon in the OT), we are referring to 2nd CORINTHIANS (a letter from Paul to the church in Corinth).
The following verses are:
2Cr 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
2Cr 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2Cr 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you,
2Cr 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
