Wow, ignorance must be bliss for some! The stories in the Bible are the same in the Quran.

More ignorance! Didn't God tell Moses and Joseph to exterminate the Cannanites? Or how about Saul , David and the Philistines?
Were not non Hebrews infidels?
Thanks for helping to prove my point about hypocrisy!

Yes, there are some stories from the OT distorted by Muhammad (or whoever related Jewish history to him.) They are not equivalent history books. Dispay some examples before you pose as an academic.

The New Testament instructs us to spread Christ's good news by love and charity, and education. Much in the Koran is about spreading Islam by the sword. Read the books.

By the way, Both are about Hebrew history because both Jews and Arabs are descendants of Eber in Genesis 10. Ain't that a hole in the boat! They are both sons of Shem and are therefore Semitic people. Speaking agains Arabs is anti-Semitic, but that gets ignored. In fact, Muslims claim to be sons of Abraham as descendants of Ishmael, the firstborn of Hagar, Sarah's handmaid, impregnated by Abraham. There is some claimed and real common history.

The OT revealed a God intimately involved in war, leading Joshua to conquer Canaan and drive out the Canaanite people. (made up of several tribes.) Christian theologians today refer to these as holy wars, or as Arabs would say, jihad. But as time passed the Jews were not nearly so warlike as their predecessors, and Christians are often conscientious objectors in time of war, even in the Roman Empire. Give us something to discuss. The Christian Bible focuses on Jesus, not holy wars. The Qu'ran focuses on Muhammed and his military lusts.

We must condemn the quran because thought it claims to be of God, it clearly is not.

These sites might help:

UPDATE: Great the the quran does get some things right, but it's dead wrong about who Jesus is which is of course a huge problem. Per 1 John 4:1-3 it's the spirit of the anti-christ that wants people to deny the deity of Jesus. So how could we not condemn the quran?

That is just about as goofy a statement as I have seen anyone make in here

The Quran calls for Muslims to kill all Infidels...(that would be you and me and everyone else who isn't muslim)

Hypocritical?.......I'm not a thinkin' so......

Do a little homework and save your next 5 question points

Everything about religion is hypocritical. God has killed more humans on the face of this earth than any other being in the world. Satan, who has NEVER killed anyone, helped us gain knowledge...

Now read the bible... God is touted as the good guy and Satan is the bad guy... So murderers are good, and teachers are bad...
