Doing the right thing or a good thing without knowing or understanding or being aware of the reason behind it, is the definition of love.

Insidentally, doing something without a reason, or without understanding why one is doing it is the defenition of insanity.

Similarly, doing something bad or destructive without a reason or without an understanding of why one is doing it, is the definition of hate.

By this definition, we know that in order to have true love there has to be two criteria present. The person must be insane. And second, the person must be using that insanity to doing a good thing, or a positive thing.

In a relationship often times only one person will be tryly inlove, while the other will know why they are doing it. The reasons people will stay in a relationship include money and material posessions, sexual gratification and emotional or psychological fullfilment. It other words, if you know what is the reason that you are with a person, it is not real love. A love unbalanced is further more a sign of infatuation. Infatuation is when a person is pursuing something without the understanding or awareness of why they are doing it to the point that they have to escessively exert energy or effor to be with that person. In infatuation one person is doing the pursuing, while the other person in ignoring or avoiding them.
