There are genuine idiots there as there are everywhere. Do what I do, smile like an idiot and say Hi and look away like an idiot before they can respond. The good thing about idiots is that they have short memories, so they wont remember that you have moved on quicker than they could say "Nice weather, ain't it?".

All parents think that about all the other parents. You have your way of raising and teaching your children and they have theirs, you think they are crazy they think you are but at the end of the day all that matters is your child and whether or not they are happy healthy and learning what needs to be learned. Just put on a smile say hi and do what we tell our kids...............play nice

That's life. Either home school your child, or invest in some ear plugs and a big plastic bubble. I'm sure someone's parent is thinking the same about you.

I have a Sth African teacher (in the UK) who I write to.
Not be a true 'parent' myself (I have three grown stepchildren), i have no idea of this area. But my teacher friend tells me about just how many dysfunctional parents she has to deal with, and who, because of this, produce 'special needs' children.
It seems like a never ending cycle and it scares me.
Sash.

I don't understand how someone can have such a patronizing attitude towards others. You seem to have a problem with your ego!

Because it is our time out, where we have forgotten what to do with it,after being stuck in doors all the time with no social life.

Welcome to Parenthood, Can you imagine what they are saying about you. But please be careful as your child gets older, in order to show them how to respect others and their beliefs, you must begin at home, children will imitate what they hear and see...and read.
