My doctor told me you should eat what you are craving, but in moderation..Don't go hog wild. Try drinking more water, it will fill you up faster. That is just a temperary fix. 3am eating is never good, but you could try milk or a few crackers...if this has never happened before you should check with your doctor, even though you have your period, you could still be pregnant if of course you are having sex. If that is not the case at 3 am try something lite to hold you over until breakfast....

Its not easy, but it is quick. If what you crave is unhealthy, and its in your house, throw it out.

I used to drink Pepsi like crazy. At least a 6 pack a day or more. I had to pretty much stop buying it and in a couple weeks of drinking alternate drinks, I stopped craving it.

Now it doesnt satisfy my thirst at all. I open one and end up only drinking half - if that.

Try to find something that is similar to what you crave that isnt healthy. For example, people with cravings for chips can switch to sunflower seeds, nuts, or light popcorn. Its not the same, I know, but at least its seomthing to munch on.

If you are just getting hungry, by all means eat something. As long as what you are eating is healthy, and you arent stuffing yourself, but rather eaitng proper portions, there really is nothing wrong with serving yourself a meal.

your thyroid and female hormones are causing this, I am taking a great all natural supplement specifically designed to heal your body so you don't have the imbalance that causes food cravings and PMS. I used to feel the same way every month, and i did gain weight. Now with the supplements i feel so much better, I am even loosing weight. They are inexpensive, easy to take and there are NO side effects.

email me for more info, I know I can help

If you can't stop thinking about it while doing something else for ten to fifteen minutes, then eat it. However if you can occupy yourself for that length of time and stop thinking about it, then it wasn't that important. This worked for me to stop smoking, and I also found it useful for food. Gum also works if you need to chew on something. Another tip is water or fruit juice, they can both be filling and nutritious.

Eat a big bowl of salad with chopped up ham or maybe some chicken strips and a tall glass of water.

form a schedule where you eat one small meal every so hours with nothing in between. whenever you want to eat extra, do something else. Go online, watch t.v., go for a walk, clean, etc. This will get your mind off of food until you get it into your mindset.

Try a low carb diet. About 160 carbs a day. That works for me and I am not hungry. Good luck!

Well, a good thing to do is just stop thinking about the food. Think about other things. Pray.
