I am 5'11" and am about equal height to my husband. However, before I married him, I did date a guy that was a full head shorter than I was. "I" felt strange but he liked it. My husband says he wishes I was taller than him. He loves it when I wear heels around him. Another short guy I know, likes tall women too. I guess everyone is different. Me being a woman, would not want to be taller than my man because I want to look up to my guy and not feel like a monster. A lot of guys, on the other hand, prefer tall women regardless of their own height. As for the confidence level of heels? No, I don't think they make me feel more confident. I don't wear them too often just because of my previous statement.....I don't wanna be taller than my man. Does that help at all???

yeah my ex was a shorty- never felt right to wear heels. For his height he thought he had a lot to make up for going unnoticed at bars so he was the loudest obnoxious person going. He was self complimenting- loved his job talked about his achievements too much and pretty much bored the hell out of me. And he had a lisp! Now i come to think of it- he had a little halitosis! I think he was a little intimidated by me- i think most of the stuff that came out of his mouth was BS only to be macho. He was cute and charming at first and then he became an annoying little cheating pest!
Short guys give me the mummy feel- will not do it again. Infact haven't been out with a shorty since him. I prefer a taller man than me-

I went on a date with a guy smaller than me once - I even left off my heels and I was STILL taller - Im only about 5.6 so Im no giant myself - but I just felt too self concious to go a second date with him - I prefer men to be taller - its just more "manly" or something. And yeah wearing heels does make you feel better - not necessarily confident though.

Yes I went out with a guy shorter than me for 2 years..I couldn't wear heels or boots..It kinda sucked but thats ok we stayed together any way. Heels go with everything and look sexy! I'm 5'7 so that's not too tall..

For me it was like a turn-on dating a taller girl, she was only a couple inches but when she put on heels it was better even though she didn't want to, She thought I would have a problem.

i'm 5 f 7 ...can't see myself dating anyone shorter 'n me. i love taller guys, but then my dad used to drill it in us (4 girls) that tall is better! he says short guys like hitler and napoleon were anally retentive cause they felt they had to prove something to make up for their shortness...??*puzzled frown*
my dad is over 6.5 and thinks he's the most handsome man in the world for it...*eye rolling* well, with this kinda drilling, i guess i grew up with a total refusal to date short guys...weird huh

I am 5'6" so pretty much anything is taller than me. I ussually date shorter than me, but every now and then I have had my fun with a taller girl. (nothing more than a feet taller)
I dont mind up to one feet taller than me, as long as they are pettite or not "bigger" than me.
