I uninstalled AIM and now the computer runs like it was when it was brand new. My new questions are how do I delete files that the computer won't allow me to delete for AIM and this game, Maple Story? My second question is, are there any ways I can communicate to the people who have AIM without loading it onto my computer like with MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger?

I'm not quite sure how you can remove the files that your having trouble with, but I'll try to answer your second question.
The only program I know of that allows to communicate with users on different Messengers is Trillion. I usually use AIM (still do), but I did switch to Trillion for awhile. You can try it for yourself, but for, it made my computer run very slowly and messed up a lot of stuff. You could also use AIM Express (aim.com), as long as you haven't deleted your account.
