she has to do a science project..nothing fancy or expensive, but something good..she also wants it to be kool..any ideas

i would say she should do something about the effects of gravity and how things when dropped at the same time no matter the weight will hit the ground at the same time, this would be good since kids at that age are always jumping off the jungle gym and that sorta thing.

volcano, the solar system, bug collection, my daughter did one on the weather. There is a lot out there just use your imagination and having fun is all part of it, if you have to do it and it is complicated and boring then she will feel it is a burden and learn little from it if it is fun and exciting she will not only enjoy doing it but will learn more from it.

you could look up some ideas on the internet. Or i would make little amusment park that shows about gravity.........you have to do something new not a volcano thats to classic do something that will amaze her teacher.

i think she should do it about static have like strands of hair and sample carpet and balloons and rub the balloons against the stuff to make static and to make it cool hand out balloons

the volcano project is a classical the one when you make it and then put baking soda and vinagar in it and it "explodes".

you could do the stages of mold on bread.. that was a good one for my kid he got an A!

she could make all the planets out of styrophone balls and paint them and have them hang in a shoe box. i did that in elementry school
