there is no mold in beer.. hops, barley, malt but no mold
and if there was.. all the ingredients are cooked to a high enough temp to kill the spores

All fermented drinks (beer, wine, cider, etc.) are made with yeast. If you're allergic to the yeast, then bread would be right out, too...is this the case?
Generally, when people have allergic reactions to these drinks, it's a reaction to the sulfites added. Potassium Metabisulfite is added at the beginning of the wine/beer making process to kill bad bugs before the appropriate yeast is added and the fermentation begins.
You could try some of the "Alco-pops" out there...the "malt-beverages" such as Mike's Hard, Bacardi Breezers, etc. While they're brewed like beer (without hops, though) they're carbon filtered ninety bazillion times to remove all the flavor (no kidding) and then the lime, apple, lemonade, whatever flavors are added back. This uber-filtration might be effective enough to rid them of any yeast by-products that might trigger allergy symptoms.

If that doesn't do the trick, stick with spirits and mixed drinks.

Let me see if I can think of a few ALCOHOLIC drinks for you..... Beer has yeast, which is a form of food grade mold, so that's out... How about Jim Beam and Coke, Tom Collins, Vodka and Red Bull, Jack and Ginger, Margaritas (they all don't have to be frozen), 7 & 7, those are a few that jump right out as standard drinks that can be found virtually at any social occasion (except the AA 5 month reunion((yes, I know it's nothing to joke about, lighten up everyone)). I would say your best bet is any DISTILLED Spirit.... Gin, Vodka, Tequilla, Bourbon, Scotch, etc, etc. I go for the Tom Collins myself, slightly sweet and nice and sour, excellent with a lime!! Hope this gets you going in the right direction, and I'm sorry to hear that you can't drink beer anymore... that sucks and I feel for you on that!!

I too cannot drink beer or the so-called malt beverages. It is hereditary-my Dad and sister as well. I feel your pain. I find a Signapore Sling is fine.

An alcoholic is a person not a drink. A drink for an alcoholic would ideally have no alcohol in it. So an alcoholic drink would probably be coke or 7 up.
