Most likely you have a cankar sore, not a cold sore which would be much more likely to be on the outside of your lip.

It's hard to cure a kankar sore, but you can get an over the ocuter pain reliever that is pretty effective called Kanka.

What you are referring to is a canker sore - not a cold sore.

Rinse with baking soda and warm water - brush your teeth, and gargle - get rid of the germs and acid - do this several times a day, until the sore subsides.

These are also due to too much acid in the stomach. Try eating popcorn. Also gentian violet on where the sore is will aide it in healing quickly. When sore appears on lips believe it or not but hemmorroid ointment while smelly works to diminish swelling and itching. Barring that see physician for meds.

Gargle with salt water. Put salt directly on cold sore. It will hurt like helll but it will dry it up in 1 day.

Try rinsing your mouth with peroxide. Don't swallow any of it, just swish it around in your mouth for 20 to 30 seconds. It should help.
