i have a friend and we have been seeing each other i think he is going to ask me out but i am not entirely sure but i think he is but i really like him but i dont want to get into a relationship because every time i do i get ****** over my last boy friend broke upwith me and is now with my old best friend does anyone no what i can do because i really like him but i dont want to get ****** over once again

You're being cautious of something that has not happened yet.
Your presumption is that you're gonna get fu%^d in a wrong way again. You learned something about how that happened the prior time, take some precautions so it doesn't happen again. One of this should be not to get the boyfriends too close to your girl friends.

Then keep it friendly and it won't matter. Just be friends. That is possible. I just had lunch with a friend and it was great. Good food and good company. Try not to lead him on either, he probably likes you but doesn't know where it will go either. One step at a time. Good luck.

well if you like him - go for it - you can't let one bad experience stop you from possibly having a great relationship with another guy
