Considering you mentioned "A" school I am hoping it is safe on my part to assume we are talking about the Navy. With four years Navy experience, I have yet to see someone come home on leave immediately after bootcamp. The Navy seems to enforce the policy of sending new boot grads straight to their A School, or this newly introduced AIT program, which is right across the street from RTC at NTC. Once he is done with his basic training, he will be transferred (free of charge) to whatever school he signed on for, and then upon graduation from that school he will recieve 14 days deducted leave to return home, or go wherever else he may choose. Good luck, and thank you for sticking with him in what is a very difficult time of his life.

It depends on a few things but a major factor is when his school begins. If there is a large amount of time between finishing boot camp and starting school then sometimes the trainees are allowed to return for leave. It also depends upon the school and what field he is going into. Some schools have more strict policies than others.

the reason you hear an incredible type of undesirable memories is by using the fact while a guy is going as properly camp, lots happens to him which you do no longer see, he's being experienced to preserve the country and would not extremely have time to rejoice with himself or every physique else, i'm a Marine and between the 1st issues that occurs is the seperation, then its the jealousy (it extremely is often with the guy, because of the fact drill instructors are constantly speaking approximately Jody!!!! Jody is a metaphor for the guy which you would be having an affair with on a similar time as he's education. he will start to have self belief that jody exist in case you do no longer constantly write him and enable him understand you adore him, make certain you write him and say Jody would not exist!!! LOL yet in any different case issues go undesirable is while the female thinks the guy is cheating and she or he would not understand that he's education around ALL men, if any cheating is going on with him, she ought to subject because of the fact which means he's gay. final element that occurs is while he end and are available come, he won't smile as lots because of the fact of what he went via, no longer because of the fact of you, jokes heavily isn't humorous, and not something will make him super happy, you in user-friendly terms ought to understand he had a coarse education for an prolonged time and he's exhausted. So bear with him, pay interest to the smallest issues.............he would be super sexy too because of the fact for the full time he will celebate!!!

no leave is authorized between boot camp and A school. at most, he will have the weekend after Pass In review 'off' but he will have to be back on base by ten pm every night.. no overnight priviledges, no driving, no smoking, and no drinking allowed.

if he is a Grad n go, he won't even get that much time off.. he will immediately pack up his seabag and depart for his A school location.

That depends on his field. If he's scheduled to go immediately to work, they can send him almost anywhere on the planet. If he's to study some kind of specialized training, then he'll be shipped off to a base with the appropriate school. As for going home, I seriously doubt he'll be back soon, unless he's stationed in his hometown. Sorry for any pain this may cause you, but unfortunately, that's how the military works.

when my brother graduated from marine boot camp, his girlfriend and me and my parents were able to go down for the graduation and spend about 3 to 4 days with him. me brother did come home with us for about 2 weeks or a little less, but extended it to work with the recruiters i guess to help recruit people. his mos was mp. i really depends on what branch he joined and what his mos is. but no matter the branch, you can see him at graduation for like 3 to 4 days. don't listen to what some people on here say, they don't know crap.

It depends...He may get a little time, like maybe a few days. However, after he gets through the IET/AIT & before he goes to his permanent duty station (for regular Army) then he will get some leave.

Yes most likely he will go right into AIT (advanced initial training) to learn his job within the military. If he is active duty then he will most likely get to go home for a few weeks before being deployed !

Unless he is being rushed to fill some billet, or has one chance at a spot in A school that needs to be filled immediately, he should be given some leave.
