It's about as bad as alcohol and cigarettes are for you. They have considered legalizing it, but it keeps getting shot down somewhere along the system. It is not addicting. It is no where near as bad for you as other illegal drugs are. So my answer, yes, but about the same as alcohol and cigarettes.

Yes. I know a couple of people that do pot regularly. Do you ever wonder why they call pot smokers "pot heads" or "burn outs"? Well I don't. I see first hand how it kills brain cells. And it changes personalities. I knew one guy that got VERY violent when stoned. It ended up costing him his wife and kids. I know another guy that can't keep a job or girlfriend, because he would rather do pot. I'm not sure about the health parts only what I can see, and it isn't a life I would want to have for myself or anybody I liked/loved.
And I read an answer that said it's not addictive. WRONG!
Studies have now proved that it is in fact addictive. Maybe not like heroin, but addictive non the less. Just ask someone who really wants to stop if it's additive or not.

Yes girl, It is!! It messes up your brain cells and makes you slow. I had friends in the past that smoked weed and in school I'd always have to repeat myself because they never understood what i said. Just remember the first "high" is the best you're gonna get because everytime you try to get high again you're body's gonna want more and more because it will be let unsatisfied. Stay as far away as possible from drugs though and people that do drugs. Sometimes what might lead you to drugs can be your "friends"

Weed is bad for you, but not that bad.

1) Weed causes cancer just like cigarette smoking.
2) Weed makes you lose motivation and makes you therefor less productive.
3) If you are younger than 16, weed may impair brain development (although it has not been scientifically studied sufficiently)

All in all, if you use it in moderation, weed is not as bad for you as alcohol, and worse than cigarettes in some ways (like hurting school/work performance) but not as bad as cigarettes in other ways (like addictiveness, cancer)

as long as it's in moderation, it's not bad. Here is why it may be bad for you: It's illegal, so you can be locked up with really violent people for smoking a bit and you need to make sure it's not laced with some non-organic that can also hurt you.

i think generally people give weed a bad rap. if smoked on occasion, i don't think it's a big deal, if it becomes regular then it would be a problem
