Just cause your a mom doesnt mean you have to be super woman. We all have low times in our lives, if you can't talk to your partner, maybe he's the reason your so low. A loving man would notice how sad you are an help you be happy again. Go an see your doc, but don't go down the anti depressant route. I was fed up an did'nt care for a long time, i've found counselling helps alot. Didn't think it would but it suprissed me.
Good luck sweetheart, we all deserve to be happy!

From one mom to another, here is a big hug! I feel for you. Being a mom now a days is so tough. There is so much pressure to do what is deemed right. Judging from your question, the first and foremost thing to do is take care of yourself. Being a depression sufferer myself, I will bet money you are suffering as well. Please be kind to yourself and seek help. It is a tough battle to fight on your own. Ask your doctor. Find a support group, either on-line or in your community. Seek out your pastor/rabbi/minister/priest, if applicable. Confide in other family members. You don't have to involve your husband, (not to be rude but he sounds like he may be part of the problem?)
Do this for yourself and your children. They need their mommy to be the best she can be. You deserve to be the best you can be. Best of luck to you always.

Are you drinking enough water?
If not, that can make you feel tired.
Stop eating refined sugary foods... they will crash your energy level. (White bread, white rice, candy, sodas)
Get a stroller and take a nice long walk around the block or something... GET UP and get moving.
Also, check into spiritual warfare. If you are that depressed, it may take some FAITH for you to pull out of it.
God doesn't give you more than you can handle.

Sounds like you might be experiencing depression. There are so many new drugs out that really work. Don't listen to the Tom Cruise types. You are suffering needlessly. Get help.

lol... your comment shows you have a sense of humor. why would he use it against you? does your frustration make him feel helpless? i think when men get defensive and shut down it is because they dont have the answers and they themselves start to feel bad. you have to take responsibility for yourself with or without him, so why not just start now?

Go see your doctor and talk to him. It does not sound like a very healthy relationship if you cannot be honest. You should maybe try to get some counseling both alone and with your husband

Is this postpartum depression? You may need some meds if it is. It sounds like you need to talk to a doctor. If your man is not supportive you need to find someone who is.

That's what friends are for. Do you have any close friends you can confide in? As a mum, I know the feeling too!

I think you should seek psychiatric help. It will help with the way you are feeling and hopefully prevent you from feeling this way again!
