My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

CONGRATS on the boyfriend coming home!!!! You can lose the 10 lbs in a week and a half easy on the Cambridge Diet. If your budget is pressed you could buy 2 containers (5 days supply each for 3 meals a day) for $22.65 each and use the Fast Start diet. If your boyfriend loves you, ten pounds won't matter. Two weeks is very quick to lose that kind of weight and you could leave yourself weak or too sick to enjoy him while he is home (if you know what I mean!). Don't go following some weird crash diet because when you stop the weight returns. Its all about burning of more calories than you put in so if you want to lose weight for YOU, do it slowly by eating healthily and doing more exercise.

Sorry, but I don't agree with you having to lose ten pounds I think your boyfriend would just be interested in how you are. Trust me girl, looks are't that important what matters is how the person is within... thats what makes a person beautiful and I have no doubt that you are one of those people. Plain beautiful. But if losing weight is truely that important to you then I reccomend doing at least 60 sit ups every night and running for thirty minutes each morning to get the heart prepared to race for when your loved one arrives..lol. tootles. Oh yeah "Do Not Starve Yourself!!!!!!!!"

Believe it or not but that liquid diet that comes in the bottle I've forgotten the name of it. But you drink it and only it for 2 days. It is really difficult to do because the cravings will make you mad but you will lose the weight. Unfortunately, as soon as you have your first meal the weight will return with it. I have done this when I needed to attend a special event etc...It's a temp fix. This product can be found in Wal-mart.

The way I lost over 10 lbs in 2 weeks was to eat a lot of fruit, i bought fresh fruit and chopped it up, and ate that every day and drank a lot of water. Also I did 20 minutes jogging every other day.
Its a healthy natural way to lose weight.

I have a suggestion for you. Try the special k diet. It works well for me. 2 bowls of special k cereal a day and a sensible dinner. It doesnt really taste that bad if you put fruit in it. Ive lost 10 lbs on it so far.

Don't worry about the weight. Trust me, he'll be glad to see you.
Otheriwse, exercise and drink lot's of water...like more than 1 gallon per day.
