Every other answer is full of hot air. Freemasons belong to an old fraternal organization dating back to the 16th century in Scotland. There is no international conspiracy. Freemasonry is NOT a religion, but allows members to be of any religion as long as they believe in a Supreme Being. I sit in Lodge equally with Protestants, Catholics, Jews, Mormons, Buddhists, and Nature Worshipers (I don't know what else to call them, but their notion of Supreme Being is more like the "Force" in Star Wars). There are no Masonic "worship services" and no such thing as a "Masonic Bible". Freemasonry is an organization whose aim is to make good men better by teaching moral lessons from the symbols of stonemasonry. It is one of the largest charitable organizations in the world. There is very little about the ritual that is secret anymore since it is almost all posted on the internet. Only the modes of recognition remain truly secret. Two excellent books for non-Masons have been published recently and they are worth a look: "Freemasons for Dummies" and "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Freemasonry". The people who would say that Freemasons are devil worshipers would also accuse the Pope of devil worship. You can decide for yourself if you are such an extremist. Famous Freemasons include John Wayne, George Washington, Harry Truman, Douglas Macarthur, Red Skelton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Richards ("Kramer"), Benjamin Franklin, 14 presidents, Charles Lindbergh, Alexander Fleming (penicillin), Edward Jenner (smallpox), John Elway, Scottie Pippin, Dave Thomas (Wendy's founder), Steve Wozniak (Apple founder), Bob Dole, Winston Churchill, Thurgood Marshall, Jesse Jackson, Mozart, Alex Haley, Mark Twain, Rudyard Kipling

Don't believe everything you hear. There is no NEW AGE.
Christ said there is nothing God will not reveal to us before
Christs return.
Spiritual power is real. One can use it to kill, or to heal. The
choice is yours.
The Masons were builders. Who Knew the power in shapes and designs. They also understood the power in symbols.
The star is the symbol of humanity. The five points of the body,
head, hands, and feet. The UPSIDE DOWN star is the sign of
evil. Masonry uses this symbol at a stage in ones spiritual
developement, because one must come to terms with the
dark side in human beings.
The swastika used by the Nazis was the symbol for the Wheel
of Life turned backward. This is the practice of evil men.
Being a Mason doesn't automatically make one good or bad.
Just as claiming to be Christian or whatever faith, doesn't make
one a true follower of that faith. It depends on the individual.

Why are they bad? What have they done? I wonder what Jesus said about loving your enemy etc. It seems if they were evil or an enemy you as Christians should not talk the way as you should here or freemasonrywatch etc. That you ignore of his teachings. Do not act as your on a level you have not reached or begun to understand about freemasonry or Christianity. Your actions are not just and Jesus never gave you the power to judge or deem damned.

They worship the "Great Architect of the Universe." They are more than a fraternity they go deeper and perform rituals and are into symbolism but only the ones who are higher up like the 32 degree masons know what is really up. They believe they can be gods " the illuminated ones" and God of the bible is a jealous evil God while the Serpent is the light bringer.
