Or you can look at it via satellite view from a real estate perspective on
http://www.zillow.com
From http://www.zillow.com you don't have to download anything.
Both are from the perspective of a satellite though and not from a plane.

for Google Earth you need to download...
if you go to maps.google.com, key in your address then click on satellite view, it will give you a picture without the download

www.terrasever.com works fine, it isn't as god as google earth by far but it is free and no download another is globeexplorer.com but what ever you use none of these places get addresses right they are ALWAYS off by a little bit so find some landmarks to recognize your houe by.

You are probably going to have to download something. Zillow.com will make you download the latest version of Flash and my company doesn't allow downloads on our computers so I was dissapointed.
