The Pope spoke truthful words, but now a Nun was murdered and Cathedrals bombed and it's not over.

What now?

The Nun is honored by dying while being persecuted.

My Catholic view is : 841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day

844 In their religious behavior, however, men also display the limits and errors that disfigure the image of God in them:

Very often, deceived by the Evil One, men have become vain in their reasonings, and have exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and served the creature rather than the Creator. Or else, living and dying in this world without God, they are exposed to ultimate despair."<1>

My personal view is: It's like a "Wife Beating" situation.

When a man is a wife beater he is convincing to his friends and family that he is good and that his wife is a bad animal. Should the wife stand up and say, "In the past you hit me", then he will use this to fuel his anger. As we have seen, the Muslims in the Palestinian area's did lash out and attack. Sure, as always, the wife say's "Deeply Sorry", but he is an angry man is still beating her because he is plagued with the evil one. Violence is his sin.

This is because sin fuels itself with it's lust for its sin.

Listen to the violent words of Muslims: "We shall break the cross and spill the wine ... God will (help) Muslims to conquer Rome ... (May) God enable us to slit their throats, and make their money and descendants the bounty of the mujahideen," said the statement, posted on Sunday on an Internet site often used by al Qaeda and other militant groups. <2>

My American view is:my disturbance with the Muslim culture is their "No-tolerance" to other cultures inalienable rights. Do not the Muslim community come to an violent up-roar when a culture practices their "Freedom of Speech"/ "Freedom of Press" by drawing a silly cartoon? Does not the Muslim community accept new members, but put death threats onto those who wish to leave the Islamic teachings thereby violating "Freedom of Religion"?

Do not judge a billion Muslims based on the actions of a few thousand that violate the teachings of the Quran.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states, "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."

With love in Christ.

If they are caught they should be punished according to the law, it is not for Catholics to take the law into their own hands. We are the defenders of peace not the instigators of violence.

We forgive them. if theyre sorry obviously theyre not but we still ask God to have mercy on them for evil deeds we aren't going to go out and throw rocks and burn down mosques and kill innocents that had nothing to do with somthing someone in another country did...
