It was not the right thing to do. If you felt scared to help the kitten yourself you could have at least informed the authorities to come and get the kitten. It is our social responsibility to inform about such animals not only for the sake of the animal but also for others (maybe it would hurt some child, maybe its not vaccinated).

Yeah sure, if you're the type of person that would leave a defenseless baby out by the road, go right ahead. I'd have at least called animal control.

I wouldn't have kept going, in fact I picked up a kitten on the highway last week. The right thing would have been to stop.

Hi
I cant say you did the right or wrong hting because first it could have needed your help or belonged to someone and they would miss them. But on the other hand it could have a disease that you dont want to catch so i would say you are both right and wrong

Obviously not!!!!! Why would you leave any animal sitting in the road? You should've caught it and looked for any evidence that it belonged to someone. If it didn't, there are tons of shelters and police stations to drop it off at!

You probably did the right thing, as it might have been too dangerous to stop quickly in traffic.
