Well, I was going out with guy that I can honestly say I loved. Me and him broke up over rumors. So recently, he has been saying very hurtful things to me and he has been talkin very reckless.
Now, he told me that he still likes me and wants to work things out so..im confused.
How do I know if he is being real to me or not???
Is there anything I can do to figure out the truth?
He said he loved me too and I was his everything.

Maybe he was just being mean because he was angry, but now he noticed that he really does love you, and want to be with you. Get back with him!

As far as I can see this guy really wants you back but before you rush into taking him back take a step back and think if he really cared for you would he have let something like a rumor break you 2 apart ,second would he have been saying all those mean things to you after the break up no he wouldn't.so what you have to do is you have to first let him know that you want a real man someone who will love you and treat you with respect, and you also have to let him know that if he wants you to take him back he as to promise to not let such small things like rumors get between you two and that if he has something to talk about mainly concerns and problems then he should come to you directly,because that is the only way you will ever be able to gain trust in one another and maintain a stable relationship.And if he agrees to that then he is being real with you and with that you have no worries and about figuring out the truth the only thing you really have to do is keep communicating with each other because remember one of the main keys in a relationship is communication.

First of all, Love should never hurt. If you and your boy friend, broke up, he should still have the same respect for you as he had when you were together. If he tells you now that he loves you, its not true, he's gonna use you, he's only coming back because no one else would put up with his mess. you may have been the woman in his life, as you may have thought. But, by letting him come back only proves to him, that you are stupid and a weak person. His actions will prevent you from maturing into a responsible woman, capable of handling problems like him, on your own.
For your own sake, leave him, drop him, don't let this man back into your life. get some space between you and him. find yourself, get grounded and live your life as someone, before you are force to live it with someone who you will find that you really didn't love.

The fact that you broke up over rumors proves that a) you both have poor communication skills and b) you are both immature. Maybe through several efforts you will both be able to become more mature and better communicators together. If he is willing to agree with you to make those goals in your relationship, I say give it another try.

You need to think if he is going to do this again. No matter if he is not with you and you broke up, he shouldn't say those hurtful things. This means the obviously he doesn't care. I would say no. You can do better.
