I really don't want to join a group I just need to ask some questions. In light of recent events I'm finding it hard to like or trust anyone in the Arab community and it is depressing. I feel I am not a racist or anything like that and maybe I am just ignorant of the culture.

Ask Taimur, He is a Muslim......... I am a Christian. But if I had a question I think I would e-mail him first. He needs to find Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour, but he seems to be a good person though, and very sincere. I still like to jab him every once in awhile when he asks a question defending Muslims against Christians on Answers though.

You can ask right here on this forum, but it is not likely the Muslims here will be very honest...I've never been able to get them to admit to certain obvious hypocritical and anti-Christ teachings in the Quran.

There is one of those "Complete Idiot Guides" to Islam if you think that will help. Amazon.com will sell it to you.
I took a course at university that was very good and helped me formulate my own opinions, while allowing me to understand other contrasting opinions.
