Does anyone have any good recipes for ground beef? I would like to try something different with ground beef. It can be oven or stove top and it doesn't have to be fancy.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

In a large Dutch Oven pot (6-8 qt) add just enough water to form 1" high in pan.
Add entire head of green cabbage bring water to a boil and put lid on and reduce heat to medium.
It should take 5-7 minutes for the head to loosen up for the leaves to pull from the head.
Set individual leaves to side.
Brown ground beef in 1 Tbls olive oil and add 1/2 diced onion, 1 Tbls Worcestershire sauce, 1 garlic clove finely minced, 1/2 teaspoon itailan seasoning. Add 1/4 cup water and let cool before adding to cabbage leaves.
At this point you could stir in day old rice 1/2 cup. Do not add fresh cooked rice as it is too soft and sticky.
Put 2 large scoops of the meat mixture in each cabbage leaf and roll from the thick end toward the thin end of the cabbage leaf.
Roll all of the meat in the cabbage leaves and put each roll into the pot again. Top with tomato sauce (I like enchilada sauce) and heat on medium for 15 more minutes.
This recipe can also be done with hollowed out green bell peppers to stuff and top with tomato sauce then reheated.
Feel free to add mushrooms, zucchini, grated carrots, corn, peas or whatever to the cooked ground beef before stuffing.

Salisbury Steak. Make it into patties, season with salt and pepper, and fry in deep fry pan, keeping any brown drippings. It is really good if you fry it with onions. Remove meat and onions. Put a can of beef broth in pan with drippings, and stir well. When bubbling, add some thickening, (a tablespoon of flour or cornstarch mixed with a little water). Dribble it into the broth a little at a time and watch it thicken. When consistency of gravy is as you like it, add the meat and onions. Cover and cook about 15-20 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes. Yummmm

I used to mix it with sliced onion, celery, beef broth, and sliced potatoes. My family loved it. I'd sautee the onion, then add the ground beef & brown it, and then add the beef broth, potatoes & celery. I'd cover it & simmer for about 1/2 hour or until the vegetables were tender.

My mom used to make Hamburger steak with onions.

She would mix hamburger meat with some worchester sauce, salt and black pepper and some onion soup mix. Then she would pat the whole mixture in a greased frying pan and fry it like a giant hamburger. It was really good.

1.add it to macaroni and cheese, or velveeta shell.
2.Add it to white rice(cooked) and a can of cream of mushroom soup and bake for a half hour. add curry in for flavor along with salt and pepper.
3.Add it to spaghetti noodles and a can of mushroom soup.
4.make hamburger patties and when they are cooked add a can of cream of mushroom on top(in frying pan) and let that simmer for about 15 min.
Sorry, mushroom soup and hamburger go good together.
