I live in arkansas and if it is by weight and hieght does anyone know what they are in Arkansas?

Those laws are controlled by states..Most go by size and weight of the child

living in Arkansas my self,
the recommended age is 12. Most newer cars have a warning label on the sun visor about this.
As for the "Legal" age, I am not sure

each state is different but I think 4 yrs of age. recently I seen on the news that now they are basing it on the childs height rather than age. Check your state statutes for this.
