Zoom-in vision or X-ray vision?

and, if X-ray, to the bones level or the clothes level?

I'd pick zoom lens. X-ray would be cool, but I'd rather have detailed distance viewing. Though I must admit that I don't think that we have the medical technology yet to do either for a human being.
