Question

I'm writing this girl a note to ask her to a school dance... this is what I've got:
taping a rose to the locker door and the following note.

Hi Kristene,
Hope that you don’t have plans Friday, because I was hoping that you would want to meet me at the dance in the front of the building. It has taken me a long time to start talking to you since P.E last year (I was the Basketball team caption, 3rd trimester, and, now have 2 classes with you). I really hope you like me as much as I like you, because I have always liked you a lot. I would love to meet up with you and dance a little. (It’s embarrassing for be to dance to up tempo songs because I’m such a bad dancer.)

if she says yes then we would probably eat there, cause they sell burgers for a buck, and play some basketball, but mostly dance. She is an amazing athelete

I'm pretty good at slow dancing (and maybe we could try a few slow dances) but I really need your help with other dance steps. I hope you'll be able to help me because I think you're probably a great dancer and I'd really like to learn from you. Can we talk after school today or maybe you could e-mail me at _______________? Go to the dance no matter what. You'll have a good time and maybe another girl from one of your classes will teach you some dance steps (girls love to teach boys to dance)

Why dont you just ask her face to face? Bring the rose and ask her out. If she says no, she was going to say no anyway so suck it up and move on. If she says yes, then you get the instant gratification of her positive response and it will boost your ego. I don't know if you know this or not, but just about everybody is a bad dancer. A girl will be more impressed that you danced to an uptempo song and stunk at it than if you didn't dance at all.

Don't tell her your a bad dancer at all...lol. Why would you want to cut yourself down like that?

And dont' say you hope she doesn't have plans. You are giving her an easy way out.

Just say:

I would like to take you as my date to the dance on this Friday. If you can make it, just let me know. If you can please let me know as soon as possible so that I can make plans to meet up with you.

Follow something like that...hope she goes with ya!

I didnt even waste my time reading the rest... after you put tape it on a rose.. I already noted in my mindd CHEESY ... no you should just go up to her and ask she'll probably get the impression your so busy to ask so you have to wrte a note...
