People meet online all the time...get to know one another, then meet in real life and have it work out great...
many marriages and other long term relationships have started between people who met online initially...sometimes oceans apart.
So...good luck...but don't wait too long to meet, and make sure right off that at some point at least one of you is willing and able to relocate (should things move in a positive direction)...otherwise, you're both wasting your time...

You have to actually meet him in person to see if this would really work. I've met girls who were great online, and shadey in person. Don't trust the computer screen, keyboard, and words. You have to see action, real life. Thats important no matter what anyone says.

you just have to make sure that the other person is who they say they are. Talking to people online and getting to know the "REAL" them are 2 different things alot of times! Good Luck and BE CAREFUL!

the odds are against it, however, if you both take your time to get to know each other and never ever lie to each other it is possible, but ber careful with the guys, it can be like a grab bag

Sometimes but you have to becareful. Not everyone is what they seem. He could look like one thing and be another. Just make sure that if u meet him make sure its in public.
