Hi! I had my first at 30, second at 32 and third at 34. That was perfect for me. I'm still young enough to have a good laugh and have lots in common with my kids, like jokes, music etc. Mature enough to cope, but young enough to still to be a little crazy with them when the mood takes us!! Best of luck with your baby making!!

I had my last child at 32. I think it is a wonderful age to have a baby. I am more patient and I take more time with this baby. I had my other child at 22. Although I feel that I have been a wonderful mother to both. I have more pateince and understanding on raising my youngest.

The main thing when you are wanting a baby is to realize that babies are needers and not givers. The baby needs care around the clock. You need to be settled in life to care for a baby.

When you want to go to the store or anywhere. realize that it will take you an extra fifteen minutes. A new born needs to be fed every two hours and the formula takes five minutes to make and ten minutes to feed the baby and an additional five minutes to burp and clean up the baby. So by the time you start doing something it is time to feed the baby again. Plus the baby need cudling and lovings in between.

My little guy is three and he wants my attention every second of the day. I am smitten with my little guy, but if you have alot of other things going on it is easy to get stressed.

Make sure at what ever age you are that you're willing to give all of your time and energy and that you have a great support system. Women are not considered high risk pregnancy age until after the age of 40.

I did notice at age 22 my body went right back to a size 3-4 and at age 32 it is taking alot of work to get back even into a size 5-6.
Good luck with what ever you decide. Babies are blessings.

I don't think age has as much to do with it as maturity. When you are to the point that you can put a child's needs above your own then you are ready. I had my first when I was 22 and my last at 30. Make sure before you start having kids you have lived out most of your dreams because many of our dreams are harder to do with kids. And remember a child is not only needy as far as love, attention, clothes, food etc but they are very expensive.

I am 28 with no kids yet. I always wanted to be a young mom, I guess that won't happen anymore. I am in a relationship, have been for a long time, but I also do want a child so bad. We'll see. I guess you will know when the time is right.

The best age is when you are ready, emocially, financially and socially.
Best done before 40, but can still be done after, usually without great trauma.

Ignore the average; that includes loads of daft teenagers.

I had my first when I was 20. I did alot of growing up and just had my second at age 26. Don't listen to people when they say before 30 or after 20...yadda, yadda, yadda. You will know when the time is right, and if it happens before that, you just deal with it!!!! lol.....

I had my first baby at 18 and my second at 34 both times brought different experiences, i do think that when you are older you are calmer and more laid back as when you are younger i felt everything was in a hurry if you know what i mean?.

I have 2 co-workers that are pregnant with what they call "late in life child" they are 36 and 38. So according to them, you have plenty of time. But please note: after the age of 35 there is a higher risk that your child will be born with down syndrom.
