God created his *son* as a part of himself gone human so He could walk among us.
Jesus prayed on the cross to his father God... because while he was a part of him, he was also human.
He did not talk to himself... he was not God on the cross... he was flesh on the cross... a man.
Thou shalt not kill - first, God didn't kill anyone. He allowed the death of his son made flesh to save many more than the life he destined to die.
Jesus died to save our sins as a voluntary act to carry out his father's plan... and he knew what it was about... but still had freedom of will as a man and could have refused and disobeyed.
Also, with the death of Jesus came a transformation of all old law and while the 10 commandments still stand... a lot of the rest did not... but as I said... God killed no one. Jesus didn't kill himself. They only allowed the plan to take place to save the rest of our sorry souls because the human race had screwed up so royally by this time that God needed to give us an "out" and a way back to Him without breaking any of his own laws or allowing us to do so.
How could He have allowed a murderer into heaven? Only one way... through Jesus. Does a murderer deserve to be there? That's up to God. If he wants to give every single last person on this planet one last chance at the moment of death, that is a forgiving and loving God. Take the chance if it's offered. Just my two cents worth.

This all has to do with the marriage covenant. The two shall become one. Jesus and his bride the Church becomes one. He has to suffer everything his bride does including the humility of being in a human form being born of a woman so his bride the Church can have everything that he has (indeed even half of his Kingdom) Yes he is mighty but that is just how much we are loved by him. Some people say because he prayed to the Father while he was on the cross that he wasn't really God or he was afraid or something but, actually he was quoting scripture about the suffering servant.

Okay, you've got a couple different questions there. I'll try my best to answer them:
1) I believe that God the Father, and Jesus Christ are two different beings, and Jesus did not pray to Himself, but His father. (other Christians might argue with this).
2) Jesus' needed to have the parents He did (God the Father, and Mary the human) in order to fulfill the atonement. He needed to be able to die (something he inherited from His mortal mother) and He needed to be able to choose not to die (something He inherited from His immortal father). Only this way could He truly give his life willingly.
3) Ultimately Jesus fulfilling the atonement, suffering, dying, and living again through the resurrection isn't breaking the commandment of "thou shall not kill" because he was following a much more important commandment to bridge the gap between God and mankind. In fact, it is only through his atonement that we can live again (both spiritually and physically speaking). It truly is a miracle that brings to pass even more life.
It's okay if you don't understand it all now. The atonement is so huge, so encompassing, that I don't expect to understand it all in this life.

God is a trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Son was born here, of a human, fully man and fully God.. He was sacrificed so that he could pay for the sins of the world. When we die, if we believe this, we will be judged. As we revisit our sins, Jesus steps in and says, Father this one is mine.
His Son is our way to eternal life. God sacrificed his Son for us - that is mind boggling. The ten commandment were written for man, not God.
Is it wise to tell God he is not setting a good example. Yeah, good luck with that.

I'll try and be nice, thanks for being sorry for offending though.
Ok, so God, Jesus, The Holy spirit; Father, Son, Holy Spirit; The holy trinity, really the same thing. God. However, Jesus is actually the son of God.
However, the idea of God coming to earth as a Human makes perfect sense really. For he loves us and has made us in his image, he cares so much that he sent his son to die for our sins. Yes, Jesus died for our sins, so that we can be forgiven for all the wrong we did in our lives. He spent three days in Hell, for our sins, and then returned to earth alive, arisen from the dead.
As for killing, well God hardly killed Jesus himself. Forgive me, but that is really a little ignorant. The Romans killed Him, slight difference there my friend. God could have stepped in perhaps, but things like free choice must prevail, and anyway, Jesus was willing to die for us.
So no Jesus is not actually God. He is the son of God, and he died for our sins, and for many Christians is in fact very similar to God. I hope you understand what I mean. I think what you are showing is not offensive but just a lack of understanding of our faith. Hope this has helped.

First of all, how do you figure he killed himself? He was crucified. Unless he nailed himself up there I don't think he killed himself.
Now, why is it so hard to believe that God would choose to experience life as a human from every single aspect? Including birth? Not too mind boggling to me!!
And, yeah, when Jesus prayed, maybe he was talking to himself...but, when you are trying to figure something out that you are struggling with, don't you go over it with yourself? I believe that was what Jesus was doing.

It's only mind boggling if you believe the trinity.
A Baptist once told me he couldn't believe the trinity, was because he couldn't believe in
God wearing a diaper.
Let's take the trinity to the next level.
If Jesus is equal to God, and in Romans it is said Adam is equal to Jesus, therefore Adam is equal to God. 1+1+1+1 =1
If God being in Jesus makes Jesus God, Then Jesus being in all christians make them equal to God. 1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 . . . =1
God can not die, therefore Jesus' did not die, therefore there is no forgiveness for sin. therefore there is no salvation.
Mind boggling is the word for it.
According to the trinity, God talks to himself.
All of these thoughts are God dishonoring, No lover of God would believe such ideas.
Now you know why I can't believe in the trinity.

God cannot "die". This is why Jesus Christ had to come down to earth in the Incarnation. Through the virgin birth, physical limitations, and crucifixion we see His humanity. Through his testimony, miracles, fulfilled prophecies, and resurrection we see His divinity. Jesus Christ was 100% man, and 100% God - all wrapped up in one. We call this the hypostatical union. Christians do not deny that this is mind-boggling. It may not be fully comprehended, but it can be apprehended. God Bless You.

Its obvious you just don't understand why Jesus came in the first place. First of all, Jesus came in fulfillment of prophecy... when in Genesis God told satan that the seed of woman would bruise his heel....inother words...destroy him.
God set up a system... that blood was required to cover the sin of man... and the blood sacrifice system came into being. But it was not enough... it only covered the sin, did not take it away. Jesus had to come, and he had to come and be a man... But he also had to be different from mankind. He had to be perfect...and so he came from the blood line of his Father... from sinless perfection....to become the perfect sacrifice for our sins...not to just cover them as before but to remove them once and for all time. Read the book of Hebrews to help you understand. He did not kill himself. Satan thought he was killing Jesus. Jesus willingly gave up his life...so he could come back and conquer death and sin and satan. As a man, Jesus laid aside the glory of heaven and the power of his heavenly position, never to return to that same role again...He will always be the God who became a man, so that we could go to be with God. He was Spirit that took on the form of a man, and hubled himself, even to death on a cross....because he loved you. He set the best example ever. His love was selfless.

It's difficult to explain to a non-believer about Spiritual matters of the Bible. I am not trying to offend you either; only speak the truth in love.
I will try...
God is Spirit. We worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
God sent Himself in human form (the Son of God) which was Jesus, in the flesh/natural.
The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit (God's Spirit) came upon Mary (virgin birth). She wasn't with anyone before Joseph.
Jesus prayed to His Father on the cross because God is a Triune Godhead (trinity - Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit). He asked God "to forgive us - for they know not what they do."
Jesus died on the cross for your sins...and mine. God loves us enough (even before we love Him) to send His Son to die on the cross.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, whosoever believes in Him shall not parish but have ever lasting life. 17 God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it but to save it.
God is sovereign and can do whatever He pleases. He will also show mercy to whomever He pleases.
May you find the grace of the living God and His Son Jesus.
Consider reading the New Testament before you continue to mock the living God. You might learn more about Jesus and how much He loves you!
