This may sound wierd......but I have a two gutted stomach.......from my belly button up its ok and from my belly button down its weird and its a little bigger than my top gut. I'm not fat....I weight like 110 and i'm in 9th grade.....my stomach is just wierd that's all.....and i really want to get a flat stomach. How can i get a flat stomach???

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

Oh honey, If I had a dollar for every girl I've ever heard say that...I'd be soooo rich. Firstly, as you say, you are not overweight, so that's not the problem with your stomach. Let's start with a biology lesson...girls have a womb in there that tends to swell up and get puffy when your period is due, also, your large & small intestine are in that area & depending on what you eat, it can affect how much your tummy pokes out. One way of minimizing the bloatedness is to drink more water & cut back on sodas. Secondly you can train your T.A. (transverse abdominus) muscle. This is a big muscle that lies side-ways across that part of your stomach, the only way to train it is to hold it in...go ahead...pull in your stomach...you've found that muscle. Now here's the tricky part, if you want that muscle to be flat & toned you have to do the following:
1. Firstly lie on the floor.
2. Lift your upper body up onto your elbows with your fore-arms along the floor in front of you.
3. Pull in the stomach tight & lift your but off the floor & balance on your toes, making a bridge shape.
4. Hold this for up to 30 seconds & do 4 repetitions every second day. Within a couple of weeks you should see your stomach looks a bit flatter & your lower back will get stronger too.

At least 50 sit-ups daily is the best exercise there is for flattening stomachs. Very effective, especially before going to bed. You can do the half after waking up and the other half before bed.

walk a lot...like around your neighborhood a couple times a day, and do about 200 sit ups through out the day.(about 25-50 at one time) I lost 20 pound in month doing that about 4-5 times a week. And also portion what you eat.

People can work for long periods of time then not gain any muscle do everything you wanted get fat.

Do not after 5PM and start those sit ups and crunches!

if you want to get rid of those flabs just do a lot of cardio, but if you want to build those abs muscle as well do, crunches and all those abs exercise.... remember dear, crunches and abs exercises only develop those abs muscles of yours underneath those flabs, and for them to be seen you have to get rid of those flabs by doing cardio.
