"Believe whatever you want... you just may end up in Hell, with no chance of ever escaping the sulfur and fire!"

Does this truly ilicit a response of "beauty" from anyone?

I honestly want to know how you feel about this statement, especially Christians since a Christian made it and another Christian said it was beautiful.

I'm a Christian and I don't find that statement beautiful. I would encourage those that do, and call themselves Christians, to read ,John 3:17. Grace and Peace

I'll tell you why I said it was beautiful.
Hell is our punishment from God if we do not do what we are supposed to do. It's a truth that I believe in. It may not be pretty, and that WAS NOT what I was talking about when I said it was beautiful!!
What I was referring to was the rest of his speech. How people would complain about God no matter what he did, but wouldn't you rather have free will to make your own choices?
I believe in that 100% and it was nice to see someone else have that same belief.

But, thank you so much for picking and choosing just the negative part and putting my statement on JUST that part. That could be libel!!

It is ugly.

It states an arrogance and meanness. The idea that open-minded thinking will land you in hell is so silly it reeks of stupidity.

But mostly this statement says the believer is arrogant and wants to feel superior towards others.

It's beyond hypicritical!!! we are allowed to believe what we want, even though it may not be right... but to say that we're going to SUFFER eternally in Hell is complete hatred. I believe that would be statn's statement, trying to TWIST God's word (remember, satan is full of 100% hate). Whether I'm right or wrong, I'd say that we are all AREADY in Hell! just look around, observe, and you can "feel" it... I also believe God would NOT punish people ETERNALLY. I believe we all suffer enough (even though we deserve it for our sins), and he's full of 100% love.

You should get yourself other friends. Don't allow yourself be always surrounded by only ONE kind of people. Get out there, travel to another countries, meet other cultures and other beliefs. To sumarize, open your mind, that's not a beautiful statement. Not to me.

You know the answer to this question already, in your heart. Do you really want an answer? People may have their own opinions about everything. But deep down, we know the truth.

It is not "beautiful" it is wrong!!! I think that is the totally wrong response. I pray that all who have not yet excepted Jesus as their savior will before it is to late and offer them support in any of their troubles!!!
