Mine have always gone into heat between 6-9 months, and then it repeats at about the same frequency.

Any time from 5 months to 2 years. The larger the breed the later the first heat often is. (by the way dogs don't have menstrual cycles, they go in heat)

It depends on the dog some as early as 6 months some at 9, 12 even 18 months but usaually 6 months.

it depends my female got her 1st menstual cycle when she was about a yr old its usseualy soon then that if she is 6 months or oldder i'd start watching her some females try to run off when they are getting close
