This past Thursday, it was that time that every parent dreads and I had to start teaching my daughter about the "birds and the bees." I started to teach her about the female genitalia system.
She wanted to see what a fully developed vagina looked like, so I showed her mine and let her touch and explore it, so that she would know what to expect.
As we were both exploring, I felt a large lump inside my left vulva which felt like a marble. Should I be concerned? Could this be cancerous do you think?

Seriously, have you never seen a picture? Also, since when did an eleven year old girl need to know that much? With that much detail? Come on, there are more mature ways to explain to a little girl where she came from and what happens when she gets older than to show her your package. That was a mistake and down right disgusting. As far as the lump? Go to a doctor but don't go spreading your legs for lessons anymore.

WOW!!! when I was 11 my mother NEVER taught me about the birds and the bees by my letting me explore her genitals area. Plus my mother never came around to that until I started my menstrual.
What if you had a son? and he came and ask you the same thing. Sorry to jump off subject here but that really caught my eye and really turned me off.
There are other ways to teach you child about "the birds and the bees" I'm a mother as well and I be damn if I will let my child touch me in that inappropriate way.

Why didn't you just show her the Dr Wang video your son found? I am seriously questioning your parenting skills. There are books you could have bought to show her what she wanted to know. I think you really need to talk to a professional.
That having been said, if you really did find a lump then obviously you need to go to a doctor to have it checked. If you can't figure that one out on your own then there is no hope for you or your children. It is disturbing to me at best that there are people like you out there raising children. God help us all.

I don't think you needed to tell us about the exploring part with your daughter. That's going to cause a lot of controversy and wasn't related to the question unless that's what your intent was.
