As no living soul can know what happens after death, only pray our faith is right, no living soul can know where or if we were before life.

We were nowhere. Of course, there is always the interpretation of the spacetime continuum that says that in the moment of creation, the entire universe, from beginning to end, was instantaneously formed, and that what we view as the passage of time is merely an illusion played out within that instantaneous creation.
Thus, in essence, the idea would be -- you were born and died all in the same sudden instant. You just have to walk the path.
I happen to agree with this quantum interpretation. It convienantly wraps up all the loose ends, removes the heisenburg uncertainty principle on the global scale, and removes that annoying mosquito bite called 'free will' which I don't see any reason to believe in.

Before you were alive, you were just a wormy nut in your fathers sack, and an ovum in one of your mother's ovary.
To be dead, one must first be alive, so no, we were not dead before we became alive.

God told Abraham that his decendents would be more numerious than the stars or the sands on earth. It kinda tells me that God knew I existed when Abraham was alive.
Philosopher/ Saint Thomas Acquanis tells of " Tabula rasa " which 'refers to the epistemological thesis that individual human beings are born with no innate or built-in mental content, in a word, "blank", and that their entire resource of knowledge is built up gradually from their experiences and sensory perceptions of the outside world.'
So, I am still struggling to align with my religion on this.

we didn't exist before we were birthed. We are a result of our mom and dad.....our fathers sperm and our mothers egg...that is why we have both dna's
The bible says that The natural is before the spiritual body.
Natural first them spiritial (1 Corinthians 15).
IF we have accepted the death of Jesus Christ for our sins and believe that God raised him from the dead and confess Jesus as your LORD you will go to heaven. If not you choose to be without him in hell.
God bless as he has.....Love,
John

Before you were born, you did not exist. After you die you may still exist in God's memory, but you will not actually exist then either. If you are alive in God's memory, you will be resurrected. Then, you can exist forever if you choose to follow God.

We go to the God who created us. He created our spirit within us before we were born. Any idea that we came from heaven in a cultic belief like the Mormons hold... Jim
