For example, Halal goat meat is one which is hung upside down by one hind leg, and has it's throat slit so all (most) of its blood is drained.
It's barbaric, inhumane, and totally without merit.
Terrorism is one thing, but I guess the Muslims need to rule the animal kingdom as well.

I am not a muslim, nor am I by any stretch of the imagination even pro-muslim, but I believe you are entirely mistaken about the nature of Halal slaughtering. The entire point of Halal is to make the animal's death as quick and painless as possible. As I understand it, the cut is made in such a way as to immediately render the animal unconscious, and to do so with a quick and sharp cut that is relatively painless. Of course the image of an animal hanging from its foot bleeding is a gruesome one, but the methods, properly carried out, are much more humane than anything you will find at a typical slughterhouse in the US or Europe (let alone the third world).

How do you think most meat is drained of blood. What does that have to do with ruling the animal kingdom? Hunters do it all the time with the game they kill. It's part of their (Muslims) customs and cultures. Let it be. Is it being pushed on you to do the same thing? Find something more useful to spend your time on then trying to raise hate. You must be a veggie.

so what do you say to the jews who eat kosher? The process is just about the same. The only real differance is that when the animal is slaughtered "in the name of Allah" is said. This makes for the meat to be free of blood.
and how inhuman is putting a bolt through the head of the other meat? that is how "regular" meat is killed.

Their blood is haram so that justifies tha hanging, and yes, they have their throat slit. How are you supposed to kill a goat? Ram them with an 18 wheeled truck or something?

I do not know the muslim ceremony but the method has been used for the millenniums It also carries with it a respect and reverence for the animal. Also the blood is usually collected not to be wasted.
Your view of muslims may be skewed. 90% are good people.

Halal (permissible) meat is killed the same way as kosher (permissible) meat. God gave the same commands in the Torah/Old Testament, no criticism of that? wonder why...

Yeah, you should strangle it. Draining out all the blood makes the meat dry when you cook it.
