Just curious what the diff is in parliaments, like they don't bother me, just don't know if they are any better than smoking Marlboro lights or not?

Not better at all. In fact, the more recent studies on smoking have concluded that Light and Ultra-Light cigarettes are actually MORE DANGEROUS precisely because they don't irritate the lungs as much,and people hold in the smoke for much longer.

They are better for you in terms that they don't stain your teeth as much as a normal cigarette. That's because of the nice recessed filter. For everyone who thinks she has no idea cigarettes are bad: SHUT THE HELL UP! She is asking a legitimate question and deserves a legitimate answer. Parliaments have wonderful flavor and the filter doesn't get all soggy.

All cigarettes are bad for you. Just because a cigarette claims to be 'light' or 'low tar' does not mean that it is better for you. Frequently people smoke more 'light' cigarettes than regular, so they put themselves in an even worse position.

no, of course not--studies have been done which show threre's no difference in brands when it comes to lung disease.

no ciggeratte is safe,lights super lights super duper lights and all those in between filter no filter half filter thay are all bad and cause heart and lung diseases

No. The recessed filter will just not stain your teeth as badly.
