All we hear is that these criminals are just a small part of the Muslim society. We don't hear the good ones even denouncing the bad things their criminals are doing. In the long run, if the good Muslims don't correct their problem, the world will have to do it for them and many more people will be killed.

Very good points by most. We do have lots of problems, but our criminals are not trying to take over the world and wipe everyone off the face of the earth! Hope we can do better in the future than the past! Religion seems to be the thing causing the most problems.

Thanks for all of your answers. I have learned from everyone. People seem to be the answer regardless of faith. We all need to help and support police by having neighborhood watches reporting criminals.

Who said that muslims are not? just because it is not highly publicized does not mean things are not happening in the back ground. Just a few weeks ago, the arrest in toronto was made because of tips from the muslim community.
You cant say that this is not happening. and you have to also think that these people are close knit... just because another person is a Muslim does not mean they are sharing their plans to blow things up with their brothers and sisters.

Hundreds of planes take off sucessfully take off every day but you only ever hear about the ones that crash. Its the same with this, bad news sells. Even if the good muslims do stand out against the terrorist acts what are they supposed to do?

Why are the good Christians of America not doing something to bring down the criminals in their society? The US (though I deeply love it) has a higher murder rate that anywhere else on the planet, would it be fair to blame that on inaction on the part of America's "good Christians"?
I think you are trying to justify your apparent lust for more death in the Middle East ("the world will have to do it for them and many more people will be killed") by blaming it on a segment of the population that has no more control over crime in their country than you have over crime in yours.
It's not a very productive place to stand!

why good christians don't stop the criminals in their society ?? if good christians should stop their countries on attacking muslims countries and kiliing 40 thousand people in iraq and 10 thousand in afghanistan,,, on the basis of weapons of mass destruction,, which have not yet been found
if they don't correct their problem, then the Muslims will have to do it for them and many more people will get killed in war.

No Muslim could ever condemn another Muslim regardless if that one is in the wrong. You can give a pig a bath, dress it, perfume it and place it on a bed of roses. Show that pig some mud and watch it gooooooo. So I don't care what adjective to put to 'Muslims' a Muslim, is a Muslim, is a Muslim.

Why don't the good Christians tell the loud, self-righteous, condescending ones to shut up. Who do you think it is bombing abortion clinics and spraying graffiti on mosques or temples? Or beating up gay people? Maybe you should start there. Hatred is not a one-way street, you know.

Here is what a "good" muslim believes:
http://www.faithfreedom.org/Articles/quran_teaches.htm
All quotes are from the Koran and Haddiths. The author of that site offers $50,000 if proved wrong. I submit the evidence and await your judgements.

The extremists have scared them sh!tless. They are the majority but they are weak and know the consequences if they were to form a movement to denounce the radicals who are hijacking their religion.

I think most of the "good" muslims are afraid, and then you've got those that claim to be "good" that really don't oppose the attacks.
