A personal loan is "personal." Ask a friend or family member.

That's tough because personal loans are not secured against an asset, so your credit score is THE key factor in the decision to provide you $. With your credit score, will be tough to near impossible to get the loan (I work in the industry and know first-hand how tough this will be).

Suggest instead to get a loan against some asset - like a car or house if you own one. That will lower the interest rate considerably and increase odds of getting the loan 100x. Other than that, suggest you ask a relative. Good luck!

520 is considered a low credit score. You will not be able to get an unsecured loan for that amount from anyone. Try a relative, or a co-signer with a better credit score.

The FICO score range is 300 to 850.

American General (www.loansfast.com) worked wtih several people I know who had low credit. They do charge 18-20% with poor credit though....but its a 3 year loan, so generally still very affordable.

probably nowhere. unless you have some applicable collateral like a car or something of value, don't think you'll get the loan you need. you can put a post on prosper.com and see if you have any bids but other than that, no bank will really touch you.

Go to someone who can convince you that you can live without $1200 loan.
