I'm a Christian. From what I have heard, listening to the prayers of others, they are praying to God, but using all three aspects. It always irritated me a bit that they'll start off "Father, I just want to thank you, Jesus, for all..." Are they talking to God, the Father, or to Jesus? For me, when I pray it depends on which aspect of God I am talking to. I'm not going to thank the Holy Spirit for his death on the cross, for example. I'll thank Jesus. I don't really ask Jesus to teach me, but rather the Holy Spirit. It all just varies, based on what I'm praying about/for.

We pray to our Father, and we go through Jesus to talk to Him and the Holy Spirit helps and inspires us to pray. Don't worry about the technicalities of it, God knows when someone is talking to Him.

We pray to the Father, through our Savior Jesus, with the help of the Holy Spirit who comforts, and guides us.
Jesus said that anything we asked of the Father through Him (Jesus) that the Father being just and grant it, IF we believe and do not waver, and live according to His will.

In the Bible in the Garden of Gethsamane, jesus puts his face in the ground and prays to God. it therefore would not make sense for Christians to pray to jesus. unfortunately they do.

To be a Christian i wager you should opt to wish to Christ...it truly is the position the information Christian comes from. yet if you're a Christian and opt to wish to deity then pray to God. it really is what Jesus did. He did not pray to Himself yet He prayed to God. you received't discover the"Trinity" interior the bible. Jesus in no way stated such as his personal words that he's God...Christians will educate you verses the position it ought to correctly be implied yet there is not any passage from the unique language texts that files Jesus as extremely announcing he's God.

Christians believe that they are all the same being.
Well -- most people who call themselves Christians do. Mormons think they are three separate beings working together for a single purpose -- so I suppose they would pray to all of them.

This is what i have observed:
When in need of salvation, help, money, food, shelter call on Jesus...
When relieved of all the pain. Thank God. (why not just go to the source in the first place. Quit treating Jesus as abouncer of a night club you tryna get into)
