I want to answer this but I think deep inside you know the answer to that question.

First I do want to say you wanted to get rid of your ex-wife, I'm guessing he answered that when you ask him to get rid of your wife. She is your ex right?

Maybe he feels that you winning the lottery will just complicate your life and you wouldnt be able to handle it.

When you pray (if u actually did pray) it has to be Gods will.

Jesus is not a genie that grants your every wish...Prayer/meditation can be very powerful and effective but can't be used as a means to try to control others. If you don't want to be with your ex, then remove yourself from the situation. Take some responsibility for your own happiness. We were born with brains and the ability to reason and act upon our desires.

Jesus is not a magical genie at our beck and call.

First off, you have to believe in Him and He needs to be in your heart.
To ask in His name means:

1.) The believer's prayer should be for His purposes and kingdom, not selfish reasons.

2.) The believer's prayer should be for His merits and not any personal merit or worthiness.

3.) The believer's prayer should be in pursuit of His glory alone.

Do you see the picture? Everything and I mean everything is done for His glory, not our own. He knows what you have need of, if you are a believer and in desperate need of something, He knows and He will give it, provided it glorifies Him. Are you glorifying Him in deeds and thought?

first of all, there are people who need things more then you probably every need them, i.e homeless people!..second of all, give yourself a break, many people ask for wishes but Jesus can only to listen to everyone if people like aren't so greedy. Think about it! there are people who deserve some things and respect Jesus!

I would like to know where in the bible that Jesus said " You can have anything you want." I'm sorry, but Jesus just doesn't hand things over like that.

You have got it backwards. It's what you can do to serve Jesus!
He was unrecognizably beaten and hung on a cross to die for your sins...sins like wanting your ex-wife gotten rid of...I think he has done enough for you.
What have you done for Him lately??!

Have you ever heard about seed time and harvest? If you want to reap corn, then you have to first plant it. That goes for anything in life. So inorder for you to get, you have to give.

One should ask for assistance & guidence to achieve the things we want ... not to ask for the things directly like a shopping list ...

first of all- you are not asking with "pure faith"
secondly -you cant have lust or fleshly desires for you step daughter- it is a sin ( even if you just think it ) he will turn his back to you.
thirdly- try to find a preacher and ask where you are going wrong. cause, believe me- you are going about this all wrong!!!!

You have to be his kid first.... and love him more than you love yourself. He wants to teach you to be a giver like he is a giver... Give and it shall be given unto you, pressed down, shaken together and running over....
Sound like you just want to take, take take.... like a little kid. Grow up! God's not a genie in a bottle.
