have a book sale/bake sale you sell old books the kids dont use or need anymore and sell bake goods like sweets of all kinds, walking tacos, hotdogs and sandwiches with chips and drinks you might be able to to get donations from stores or restraunts.

Our school district likes good nutrition and fitness to go into fundraising. We stopped selling cookie dough and candy. We do have a gift wrap and novelty fundraiser in the fall. Then, we have a jog-a-thon in the spring. The jog-a-thon is great and 100% goes to the school!

jar bar. Parents of each kid donates a jar full of stuff that other kids might like about a $4 limit and then during a break the kids can purchase a jar for $2-$4 dollars. all profit. parents would rather donate a jar rather than have to sell chocolates, baking, volunteering, etc.

sell krispy kreme doughnuts . . sponsor a raffle . . hold a talent show . . have like a kiddy dance one Friday after school . . Food Lion also does helps with fundraisers like sjeboyce was talking about . . . you could also hold a bake sale at walmart, just contact them in advance, and I know that when we held ours there for our church, walmart matched whatever funds we made . . . you can have a car wash (before it gets too cold) . . .

Raffles usually sell really well. We got a furniture company to donate us a recliner and we raffled it off for quite a lot of money and the person who won it was very pleased having only investing $2 to win it.

Some restaurants now will do fund-raiser nights. Get families to come to their restaurant for dinner on the appointed evening, and a portion of every $ goes to your school.
