you shouldn't be feeding the kittens milk - there is a special kind of formula - call your pet shop - feed them every two hourse, day and night.

Feed it every two hours. Cow's milk doesn't have the right nutrients for a kitten. Get some KMR (kitten milk replacer) at a local pet supply store, such as PetSmart or Pet Supermarket. After the kitten eats, you'll need to wet its bottom (genitals and rear end) with a warm, wet cloth. Kittens that little don't go to the bathroom on their own, they need stimulation. Keep the little guy warm. Good luck!
btw, to encourage a mother cat to adopt the kitten, rub this kitten against the mother cat's kittens so that it has their scent.

Every three hours or so. But cow's milk does NOT have enough nutrition for a kitten to live on. Either find another cat with kittens she can nurse from, or get some Esbilac from the pet store. Also, she won't be getting any antibodies against disease from her mom - so she'll need shots earlier than a normal kitten so that she doesn't get sick.

Feeding
Kittens may be fed by bottle or stomach tube. The stomach tube is faster, but many people enjoy bottle-feeding kittens. Your veterinarian or clinic staff can instruct you in either method.
Newborn kittens should be fed 6-8 times daily. The frequency
should be gradually reduced to 3-4 times daily by 2-3 weeks of age.
Kittens must be helped to urinate and defecate by gently stroking the genital area with a cottonball or tissue moistened with warm water after each feeding.
Constant crying and failure to gain weight indicates a problem.
Call the doctor.
You can determine how much to feed an orphan kitten by considering its daily caloric requirements. The general total daily caloric requirements for kittens under 4 weeks of age are:
1st and 2nd wk of age 6 calories/ounce of body weight daily
3rd and 4th wk of age 8 calories/ounce of body weight daily
Example: You plan to feed a 1-week old, 2-ounce kitten 6 times
daily. The kitten requires 6 calories/ounce body weight x 2-ounce kitten=12 total calories needed for 1 day. You plan to feed 6 times daily. Therefore, 12/6=2 calories are required each feeding. Your milk substitute contains 1 cal/ml. Therefore, you should feed 2 ml each feeding.
Solid foods should be introduced as a thin, pan-fed gruel at about 3-4 weeks of age. Over the next 2 weeks, the gruel should be gradually thickened, reaching normal, solid consistency when the kittens are 6-8 weeks of age.

Awwww, how sad but sweet.
I had a kitten and the same thing happend, it was my dad's frined's cat but still.
Feed it every two hours, including night and day.
Make sure the milk is warm but not hot. If the milk is cold and you give it to the kitten it'll get a stomach milk.
Good luck and I hope the little kit lives!

depends how old the kitten is. but generally, about every 3 hours, and you should be feeding it special formual for cats, since cow's milk will give it the runs and dehydrate it.
