He also has been sneezing some, seems to "cough" more when moving around. He was in a kennel a few weeks ago but does not cough when i press on his troat!
He hangs his head down to get the mucus to come up.
His nose is cold and wet, he is eating and acting normal other than the coughing which seems to slow down his ability to play!
He is still eating.

he may have picked up kennel cough(bordatella) at the kennel, it is highly contagious...airborne. He should see the vet, and will probably be put on some antibiotics. You should also inform the kennel as they should know that they could have contagious dogs there.

Sounds as if he has Kennel cough. He needs to be seen at the vet. Kennel cough is like a cold and can easily be spread throughout even the cleanist kennels it is airborn like our colds. The vet can fix him right up and get him to the vet before pnuemonia kicks in.

It does sound like kennel cough but only a vet could tell. If you do not have him on heartworm preventative, I'd immediately check for that.

i might get a 2nd opinion. I understand going to a distinctive vet, isn't very fee-effectual, yet----reckoning on the place you reside there are particular days while vets could have an 'open medical institution', or there are even 'cellular vet' agencies too. additionally, attempt calling a Boxer Rescue team and decribing your boxer's 'historic previous' in this subject. they often have a vet they use and can ask for you. make certain you tell them this may well be a puppy keep puppy. additionally, respected breeders are constantly happy to respond to questions and could have the means to lead you interior the superb path. regrettably, this all seems to have began to ensue approximately while domestic canines offered at 'puppy shops' often start to 'go downhill'.... Sorry, that would not help lots does it? do in simple terms the final you are able to, attempt and stay constructive, (this may well be a reliable breed often and that's one element he does have going for him.....) And please keep us published. Woof. additionally, often while a canines has 'Kennel Cough', the WORST place to maintain him is on the vets. He already is compromised, wellbeing sensible, and is extremely susceptable to the different infections, wellbeing themes, etc. regrettably, maximum vets do no longer even placed canines with this subject in isolation---they simply placed them with all the different canines. (Please word, i did no longer say ALL vets.) thank you.
