my husband asked me to marry him two weeks after me met, we got married three months later, have been married for thirty eight years, have three kids and nine grandkids.

I dated a guy once for a week and on the 7th day he was singing and he asked everyone to pls if he could have a moment he had something to ask someone in the audience and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, unfortunately we dated for 3yrs and found out before setting the date we were not right for each other and actually rushed into it, when its rushed thats all you think of, and you never really find the true person, so if your looking to get married no in some cases it does work after meeting and getting married but truely find out who you are and the person you will spend the rest of you life with, cause a divorce these days depends where you are gets very costly any more!

It didn't happen to me, but my Uncle asked my Aunt to marry him the day after they first met. Now, they've been married 18 years and have 3 kids!

Once (not with my husband) I was dating a guy for only about a month when I told him I didn't want to see him anymore because he was getting too serious. Then he asked me to marry him. I felt bad but, I didn't even want to date him.
