three days....after the initial shock , the cat will stop pining,and after smelling the rotting flesh,will begin to devour the corpse

It depends how long you've had the cat. If you'd had the cat for a while then even if you're dead it will recognize that you have authority and won't eat you. To the cat you would look like you were sleeping and I haven't ever heard of a cat eating it's sleeping owner. However, if the cat doesn't know you it might start in right away. Depends how hungery it is.

I watched a programme on animal planet once where they went to a home where the old lady had died .Its not funny they actually did eat her and you cant blame them its survival .But it is a sad question to ask when im sure this does happen often .Would you like to be the first person on the sceene ,Im sure you wouldn,t

well they eat live wild life, so there's no reason why they couldn't wait to eat you......just joking. If someone found you they wouldn't get enough time but after they stop pining and if no one was feeding them then maybe sometime before you start rotting. cats are very clean animals and like their food to be too...........he he

Great question - my cat eats everything within about 5 seconds of it being put in front of her - and still goes out and eats the local wildlife. Little ***** she is.

lol..Cute. My cats probably wouldn't eat me. My husband would find me long before there food supply ran out. And if he didn't, then they would eat food from the trash can. It wouldn't take them long to lay on my dead chest though or on my head.
