My paintings are horrible . I cant paint at all , but I want to sell my pictures for $2000. How can I do that?.... Please stop painting .Just kidding , do abstract designs, that way it just appears to be your style.Alot of work gets sold this way , then you can work your way towards realism.Remember , painting abstract is somthing that comes from within ...if thats what you want to convey .Dont expect to get that kind of money so soon ...unless you are like the late Basquiat ...google the name , you'll learn alot about what Im saying ...Check out the movie by the same name ...Good luck , and most importantly , HAVE FUN!

Get lessons in painting or buy a book or both. Everything depends on the type of paints you use as well. Certain types for certain styles and people. If you're having trouble with acrylics, try water paints. You'll need to learn some techniqes but they are easy to blend and a lot of fun to work with.
Oils are a bit difficult but some people find they make paintings look so much better. Experiment.

Work on your painting skills and get better at it. This is a horrible insult to the real artists out there that pour their heart, blood and soul into their work, you know.

Have faith in your work, your abilities, and your creativity. Gallery representation certainly will help. The more that you do something the better you will get. If painting is your passion, never give up. Also, expand your knowledge, keep your mind open and stay positive.
