He is simply indoctrinated in what the muslims teach. They believe Jesus was a prophet who foretold the coming of Mohammad. Bunch of bunk. Jesus and the bible were way before Mohammads time and he was a foul and odious man who was not worthy of the title prophet.

The Muslim is neither crazy nor insane.
1. The Christian knows and are proud that Jesus died by crucifixion, and
2. Jesus is in Heaven making intercession for His children.

1. The Muslim doesn't accept that Muhammad was set up and poisoned from a two piece lamb dinner, and
2. This makes the Muslim mad because, the terrorist has precedence over their leader Muhammad because they get 144 virgins to play with and Muhammad well he gets none.
Go ahead cry we, we, we all the way home.

David,
You are a Christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades Christianity.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess it wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity. (And you clearly do not understand hebrew.)

jesus died on the cross for our sins. i don't think your muslim friend shd go around telling you that you were brainwashed. every religion has its teachings. christians believe in the bible. the muslims believe their koran. so let's not criticize other people's beliefs. let's all live together and accept one another as human beings and tolerate each other's cultures and beliefs. the world will be a much better place that way.

I would not call him crazy or insane. I would call him correct. Modern biblical scholarship makes a very compelling case for the idea that Jesus never existed... that he was, in fact, entirely fictional.

Er, no, I'd probably say he followed a different religion.

But I would probably be more likely to say that you never heard a Muslim say that: Jesus is in the Qu'uran, dontchaknow, and Islam recognises his existance.

Mohammad never said Jesus was a liar. He taught great respect for him, and his mother, Maryam.

Better learn something about Islam before you start saying what they believe.

And, I have a question for you. Are you so paranoid and panicked about your new found religion that you hate everyone who disagrees with you, because you -down deep inside-do not really believe it yourself? You sure sound it.

97% of people are brainwashed. Society lives while the truth is hidden from its eyes.
