New Zealand can be one of the best places in the world to live if you have what it takes to immigrate here. You will need to satisfy a point system that you are healthy, young, qualified, experienced, and wealthy enough to immigrate. You can check this out under the official New Zealand immigration website. Just google that one. It should end "govt.nz" or some such thing. There is an application fee to pay when you put in your application, and it can all be done online. The fee is about $600. Do not use any immigration consultants, they are not necessary, and cost crazy money. You can immigrate as a skilled migrant, an investor, or a family member of a New Zealand resident. Skilled migrant means that you will need to have a prfession that is in demand here. You will find that life here is a bit like life in the US, but calmer and without guns. Good luck!

Very very difficult to get into NZ. There are tight restrictions on new immigration, and they only want people in excellent health who have valuable skills that NZ needs. And it will at very least cost you the price of round trip air fair since I don't think you can buy a one-way ticket to NZ unless you can prove you have sufficient funds to leave the country.
