What kind of straightner are you using? The Chi straightening iron is the absolutely best way to go. They run about $100 but are well worth it. I use an Aveda straightening cream, Then I blow dry my hair (make sure it is good and dry). Then staighten you hair in sections going from bottom to top. With the Chi it won't take long at all, and you'll love the result!!!

you need to use a straighting serum when it's wet, blow drow then spray a silicon based product on each 2 inch piece then flat iron. Do not touch the hair until it cools, then respray with shine spray and go. Here's some products from cheap to expensive to help you. Believe me, i'm a hairdresser with curly hair, I have silky straight hair from doing this! Also, if you live somewhere humid, you need a ANTI HUMECTANT pomade to put ontop to stop from recurling or frizzing...this stuff is a miricle! I only like aveda anti humectantant, it's spendy $28, but you only use a little little bit, and the bottle will last u forever! Well worth the money, you use it after you style before u go out. Hope I helped ypu cutie!!

basicly, start out with a " smoothing " shampoo and conditioner, redken, aveda or use the new color viv. Then put a serum like the citre shine one on, blowdry, flat iron and then spray with shine spray and put on anti humectant pomade! Sounds like alot, but it works!!!!!!
