Two questions but I'll only get points as one.
NO! but killing is being stressed now because it is written koran.
#2 Yes! Before the Pope finished, the temper trantrums started. Today muslims cried for the murder of the Pope.
Really fine bunch of people.
I hope the American muslim is watching the fine example set by the homeland on "How to impress the heathens" to embrace islam. :o :) "lookie see my sword"
I wish to apologize the TV has just reported the Killing of the Nun was an internal political issue and not about the Pope's speech.

No it isn't all about killing and violence. But it is a pretty big chunk of the Koran. I mean, reading that book, it is pretty horrific. No where near the Old Testament in violence.
So Islam teaches a lot of things, much of which I think is pretty good. But the good things you can find in it are the same things found in most groups.
I would say that the recent outburst of Muslim violence is another example of a group of people with a violent culture and a religion that perpetuates that violence.

I think that any religion is as valid as the next in terms of aptitude to violence. What people seem to be doing here is singling out another religion they neither understand nor relate to. It's a symptom of xenophobia. "Those people are different so we must hate them!" It's the same ridiculous sentiment that those religious extremist have for us.
Christianity is an older religion, and with or without the relative comparisons between the Bible and the Quoran for the amount of violence, Christianity has had its violent upsurges throughout history.
Each religion has its peaceful followers and its extremist violent followers. What we fail to realize here is that those terrorists are more a product of their culture, and socio-economic climate rather than their religion. Islamic extremists are a minority compared to the number of benign followers throughout the world.

No. Islam is not about killing and violence. The Pope knows nothing about Islam and has openly addmitted to it. Just because there are radical Muslims does not mean that ISLAM is the enemy.

Yes and it did not take long for them to prove to the world that he was right. Killing a nun how brave is that? I believe in peace but am beginning to believe its imposable with Muslims

Islam doesn't simply turn the other cheek. Islam is kind until you cross her path, at which point she will raise her sword in defense.
